What is Released Time Bible Education?

Sonshine School Ministries provides Released Time Bible Education. This empowers students to explore faith and build character during the school day through off-campus Biblical instruction. This Supreme Court-protected program provides a unique opportunity for spiritual growth while maintaining academic excellence.

Written parental permission is required
Privately funded through community support, with no cost to the school district
Professional instruction and structured curriculum

The Crisis Facing Our Youth

Today's students face unprecedented challenges:

22% have seriously considered suicide
Substance use disorders affect 4.1% of teens
Teen alcohol use rising, particularly among females (26.8%)
Drug overdose deaths among adolescents have nearly tripled since 2018
